The HP site is badly organized. It sells printers, computers, and services to students, gamers, small businesses, and huge corporations. It has thousands of SKUs but most are just configurations of a few products.

The Ask
HP wants to compete with Apple and is developing the hardware to do it. They need a commerce site that makes people re-appraise the brand while still selling printers and computers as their lives depended on it. Design for drama, make it app-like, be iconic, and to convert the sale.
My Role
• Partnered with brand strategy and ux
• Worked hand-in-hand with our design director
• Researched technologies that could be integrated
• Designed the UI and animations
• Designed the pitch presentation
Gamer Experience
We decided to lead with branding the Omen server as the Omen is a huge part of creating quick seamless game play. I branded this page to be edgy so that it identified with its gamer base. Highlighting the power, 3D visual call outs, immersive video content and a commerce section for the Omens accessories. Also a quick drag-n-drop shopping cart experience.
Intuitive Search Results
Surfacing up the most frequent purchased hardware, while the menu follows the user as they navigate the experience. Making it a tool over just a normal navigation.
Chat Bot Experience
We wanted to integrate a chatbot customer service experience to make it easier for user’s to find their solutions when ordering. Providing 24x7 support, personalization, reducing costs and providing product guidance.
Product Landing Page
This page was an ad hoc request on how we would brand specific product lines. Keeping the layout similar to each product page but giving it their own feel and features. This page highlights the features of the Spectre Laptop, showcasing the autonomy and accessibility of the luxury brand of Spectre series and it’s accessories.
